This home’s design was Tudor, which was odd because Tudor designs aren’t located in Moraga. We removed the Tudor trim, windows, doors, and lava rock. All the windows were replaced with Milgard Windows; a new Simpson front door was added; two fireplace chimneys were added; and the front entrance was stripped of the lava rock and replaced with a much more appealing stone. The exterior stucco had a very heavy finish so we grounded the existing stucco finish down and applied an acrylic base stucco with an imperfect smooth texture to the entire home.
